Her grandfather John Martin Magenau Jr. was President and CEO at the Jackson Koehler Eagle Brewery in Erie Pennsylvania which had been established in 1847. It closed in the year 1978. Jacobs was a regular at the Pittsburgh Playhouse on Saturdays to enroll in acting classes. At the age of eight, she started studying acting. Mt.
